Homo Hate...Really People?!?!

After countless hours of going over all the details of this blog and making sure everything was in order I completely forgot what I wanted to write about today. It's still early in the morning so perhaps I still need to clear the cobwebs away and hope that my brain wakes up sometime soon!

Real-Life-Opinions....To me this means exactly what it says... real....life...opinions. One opinion that I hold dear to me is the legality of gay marriage. As most people know through the media that gay marriage was approved and has already begun in my great city of New York.

I cannot begin to express how I feel about this because I was so moved when it happened. It was a real slap in the face to many people, but what I cannot begin to understand is why do people hate gays so much? What did we ever do to another to make such hatred accrue for us?

Honestly, everyone knows that throughout history that someone or some group of people have been persecuted and it is horrible, but how do we change such a cyclical cycle? It was the Native Americans, African Americans, Women and now Gays! People should be ashamed to bash people when they know nothing about them.

As I walk down the street no one can guess that I am gay, but then again most people I know say they knew the minute they saw me. However, how can my personal life effect someone to the point of hatred? I do not condemn you for what you do to your wife, girlfriend, or mistresses so do not condemn me!

So, here it seems that my major opinion is that people should not hate another for their lifestyle or what they choose to do behind closed doors or even in public when those people do not hate the same people for doing exactly the same thing....
