Hey Doc...What Took You So Long?!

Yesterday I went to the doctor's office to get some tests done. What I cannot seem to understand is that even with an appointment time I am never seen on time!!!

What is the point of appointment if you can never be seen at that time? Even if I do get seen I am usually in and out within 10 minutes of seeing the doctor. How come it takes so long for a doctor to come see me?

The answers are that the doctor's prefer to take their time and not rush because they have all day. They're working...your probably on a break or took the day off. Therefore, who has the longer time to wait? Also the doctor is getting paid, but your not so they don't care how long you wait.

Another thing is the nurses. Is there some reason to be rude to patients? Just because your not happy with your job, then perhaps you should go work somewhere else. 

Being a waiter I have to pretend to be happy all the time even if I am not. So why can't you? Just a word of advice, but a smile goes a long way.

Anyone else have issues with the doctors office?
